With the increase of tablets, Smartphones and other devices coming into the consumer market and making their way into the workplace, the need for mobile device management continues to grow. Recently it has been reported that 70 percent of managed services providers (MSP) said customers are asking about mobile device management. Approximately 20% don't have a solution in place to meet inbound customer inquiries. Instead of trying to pitch and sell mobile device management (MDM), perhaps managed services providers (MSPs) should simply spend more time listening to incoming customer requests and queries. It has been reported that people are looking for a way to manage the influx of mobile devices. MSPs need to adjust their business processes and sales models to address customers’ growing use of tablets and Smartphones.
