Vodafone Announces Low Cost Android Smartphone

Today Vodafone announced the launch of low cost Smartphone; Smart II handset for the mass market. This Smartphone has twice the processing which delivers high level of performance, functionality and quality that is traditionally the marmalade of high-end Smartphone’s. But this phone is quite economical. It has been reported that Smart II could represent a tipping point in the evolution of the market, bringing a new wave of consumers to the supermobile world for the first time.

3.2 megapixel camera
White LED flash
Supports HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity
A-GPS for location tracking

The Smart II will be unveiled first in the UK priced at £70. It will be available across Vodafone markets and partner markets this summer with price under €99
